Meet the Photographer

Holly Shoemaker is an award winning, internationally published photographer based out of Phoenix, AZ with more than 15 years of working experience and knowledge.

Holly is an advocate for LGBTQIA+ as well as Body Positivity and Reproductive Rights, and strives to create a safe creative space for all.

Specializing in creative portraiture, her most notable work being the Sticks and Stones Project, a photo series focusing on negative words and the impact they can have on us. As well as the series Keep Your Hands Off My Body, in response to the overturning of Roe V Wade in 2022.

Keep Your Hands Off My Body will be featured in a solo gallery exhibit at the historic Alwun House in downtown Phoenix, with an opening night of Nov 4th, 2022 at 6pm. Opening night is free and open to all ages.
